Different types of allergens such as dust, smoke, flower pollen, toxic gas emitted from mills, car smoke, certain foods, medicines, etc. cause allergies and asthma. Any healthy person can have allergies. Starting with mild symptoms can lead to severe symptoms, even a sudden onset of severe asthma attacks. Researchers in New York say vehicles cause sneezing allergens on the highway. According to the California Institute of Technology, at least 20 allergens from a variety of sources can be found in the lining of stone slabs, bricks, etc. They describe pavement dust in such a way that it is a complex combination of soil dust, vehicle exhaust, tire dust, tree leaves, and other compounds. Road dust is a major cause of allergies/asthma in city dwellers. This is because they are rapidly absorbed into the atmosphere by vehicles, people, and so on. According to them, 12 percent of city dwellers cause airborne allergens with inhalation.According to the researchers, people living closest to the highway have the highest risk of allergies and asthma associated with road dust, and children living within 100 meters of the road have the highest incidence of cough, whooping, running nose, and asthma. Asthma and allergies are a painful health problem, so care should be taken to prevent allergies and asthma. There are specific causes of allergies. It is possible to get rid of allergies by identifying the causes and allergies to certain foods. Allergies occur when the amount of immunoglobulin-E in the blood increases. As a result, the amount of reaction of the allergen antibody is higher and the amount of histamine secreted due to this reaction is higher which causes allergy. In general, dust, smoke, car toxic gases, factory-made substances, wet in the rain, winter fog, pollen, some special foods such as shrimp, boiled, carrots, beef, duck eggs, ripe bananas, pineapple, coconut, Cosmetics, and countless unknown things can cause coughs, respiratory allergies, and asthma in our body.
Asthma:
Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the airways and sensitivity to it. Symptoms include sneezing, coughing, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing.
Causes of asthma:
Although asthma is caused by heredity and environmental factors, it is not clear how these two products cause it. Inflammation, however, causes the airways to become red, swollen, narrow, and sensitive to irritants, which can lead to asthma symptoms. Asthma symptoms are usually due to the following different producers.
1. Infections, usually viral symptoms such as colds, flu, etc.
2. Allergens, especially dust, pollen, tiny parts of domesticated animals, etc.
3. Exercise or physical exertion, especially in winter.
4. Emotions, such as- excitement, fear, anger.
5. Irritants, mainly air pollution.
6. Smoking (Asthma sufferers themselves and other family members should avoid smoking).
7. Climate change.
Asthma symptoms:
1. Breathing with the sound of gurgling.
2. Respiratory obstruction.
3. Chest pain and cough etc.
The following changes are seen in the airways during asthma attacks:
1. The airways begin to redden and swell.
2. The muscles around the trachea constrict and make the trachea narrower. Excess mucus builds up in the airways, partially blocking airflow into the airways.
Treatment:
Asthma is a chronic disease. Asthma can be controlled with proper treatment and medication. Patients need to identify and avoid triggers that increase the severity of asthma. Also, all asthma patients should keep an eye on the assigned issues.
1. Smoking and contact with tobacco smoke should be avoided.
2. The home environment should be kept clean and tidy and free ventilation should be provided in the house.
Two types of drugs are used such as:
1. Asthma resistant:
Medications that prevent the development of asthma are called anti-asthma drugs. There are two types of medications that can help prevent asthma.
2. Anti-inflammatory drugs:
All these drugs prevent asthma by controlling the inflammation of the airways.
Bronchodilators or bronchodilators:
These drugs quickly dilate the airways and prevent asthma.
Asthma reliever:
Bronchodilators act as analgesics. Bronchodilators dilate the airways faster, allowing air to circulate more easily to the lungs, and thus relieving the symptoms of asthma patients.
There are two types of bronchodilators:
Transient bronchodilators such as salbutamol. All these drugs have to be used 3-4 times a day.
Chronic bronchodilators such as bambutamol. All these drugs have to be used once a day. Long-term use of transient bronchodilators (such as salbutamol) for mild or moderate asthma does not provide any clinical benefit. Therefore, in all these cases, chronic bronchodilators (such as bambutamol) should be used.
For nocturnal asthma, using bambutamol as an alternative to modified released theophylline has good benefits.
Asthma side effects:
Many patients talk about the side effects of asthma treatment without treatment. Uncontrolled asthma causes more horrible side effects. If asthma is not controlled through proper treatment and medication, lung function will decline and become useless as we age. If the baby's asthma is not treated properly, the growth will be hampered and in the case of mothers, the growth of the fetus will be hampered.
Side effects of asthma treatment:
The use of corticosteroids can cause oral candidiasis. Patients who use corticosteroids through inhalers should take regular calcium supplements to prevent osteoporosis.
