Arthritis pain? What to follow to stay healthy
Pain |
What people call arthritis pain is arthritis in medical terms. People are suffering from arthritis in almost every family. About 200 million people in our country suffer from osteoarthritis. 18% of women over the age of 60 and 9.6% of men suffer from arthritis. If you follow a few precautions, you don't have to be under house arrest because of the pain. World Arthritis Day was observed around the world yesterday to raise awareness about this issue. This day is also celebrated in our country. It was decided to observe this day on October 12, 1997, at the initiative of Arthritis and Rheumatism International.
Arthritis is also a problem in all countries of the world like Covid-19 superficiality. Notwithstanding, the ailment isn’t infectious in any way. There are two main types of arthritis. Osteoarthritis at one age and rheumatoid arthritis at any age. About 1% of the world's population suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. The standard of living of the people who are in pain goes down. But with the help of proper treatment, the pain can be reduced and normal life can be lived, said orthopedic surgeon Anjana Mishra. Knee pain is the most common of various arthritis.
As we age, the bones in our knees and other joints begin to decay. Injuries at a young age and without proper treatment can damage the knee joint at an early age. Anjana Mishra said that the most burdensome joint in our body is the knee or ni-joint. Bodyweight books wear tired knees erode in daily wear and tear. And the friction of the decayed bone joint puts pressure on the nerve root of the ni-joint. This is why there is pain. Not everyone will have severe knee pain in old age. People who are overweight, do not exercise at all, have chondromalacia patella, damaged cartilage, gout, and osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, or have suffered a knee injury due to an injury have a higher risk of knee pain as they get older.
With age, bone calcium decreases on the one hand, and on the other hand, the bones of other joints, including the knee and hip joint, deteriorate. And the friction of the eroded bone joint puts pressure on the nerve root of the leg and thigh joint. This is why there is pain. Anjana Mishra said that in the case of osteoarthritis, the cartilage of the joints also deteriorates. As a result, the bone joint cannot move easily. The joints become stiff due to bone loss. In rheumatoid arthritis, the hip joint becomes deformed and stops walking, on the other hand, there is severe pain.
Problems with hip fractures, septic arthritis, and sister dysplasia can lead to stagnation on the one hand and life on the other. The patient breaks down physically and mentally. With the help of sophisticated treatment, unbearable pain can be relieved. Treatment means but not pain medication. There is a risk of side effects when buying over-the-counter pain medications. The pain also started to increase, Anjana said. So when the pain starts, you must increase the muscle strength by exercising with the advice of a doctor.
Orthopedic surgeon Ani Kumar said that in case of a fracture in the hip joint, the patient needs the help of surgery to stand on his own feet. The femur sister is the longest bone in our body. According to medical science, the strongest and longest bone in man is the femur sister. If the calcium in the bones decreases and becomes weak in old age, there is a risk of breaking with a small injury. People who are overweight and never exercise, who have low levels of calcium in their body, need to be careful. With osteoarthritis, knee pain starts after going up and downstairs and walking for a long time. However, there may be a pain in the knees even if you are sitting stretched or after waking up. It is difficult to bend the knees again. Sleep can also be broken by pain. If this is the case, expert advice should be sought immediately, said Ani Kumar.
This year's covid epilepsy has increased the risk of arthritis pain, among other illnesses. Experts advise preventing arthritis by doing regular light exercise and not gaining weight and eating calcium-rich foods. Also, if you have rheumatoid arthritis, you should follow up regularly. Awareness of the disease, like many chronic diseases, can also prevent pain. Remember that real medicine for pain is exercise and healthy living. Everyone stay pain-free, stay well.
